Of course, I cannot let go of it without making sure.
I emailed them and was told it wasn’t him leading it but someone else. Although I know and believe in the capability of the whole team, there is this small part in me who will not give it up without exhausting all efforts to get what I want. I know, it’s just a small thing to fuss over but to me, if I’m paying for the service anyway, why not get the one you actually want and paid for?
I sent Leo a message privately and asked if it was possible to choose directors and editors for our wedding. He said, it was possible—and right then, I bluntly said, “Can I request for you?” I told him about the friends and former brides he worked with and vouched for him and I would really be grateful if he agreed to do ours.
It took him a little while to reply to me.
Minutes later, he sent another message saying, they (within the group) talked about it, and he had agreed to be the one to head up the videography team at our wedding.
I WAS ECSTATIC.
I thanked him profusely and needless to say, I was very happy about it!
These little wins in between preparations and work really make the effort and trouble of long-distance planning seriously worth it. :)
