I cannot be happier that on the day before and during the wedding, we did not worry anymore about anything. They got it. They got everything.
I slept around 11pm on 16 May. If other brides were still busy running errands or talking with suppliers or preparing DIYs or what-have-you, I was busy...eating and relaxing in front of the TV with my family. We ordered some North Park for late dinner. I was busy polishing my vows. That was about it.
The morning of 16 May was another story. We were all cramming to get to the hotel. I was emailing back and forth with Queen, Aphat (the caterer), Roger (Anima Christi), and tita Gina (Royal Flower Shoppe). We were quite busy with the surge in number of guests all of a sudden. From a planned 200-250, we were expecting about 320-350. I was stressing out that morning. By afternoon, I was calming down, thanks to my mom, Aphat and Queen. By late afternoon, I let go. And just prayed everything will be okay.
I woke up about 5.30 or 6am the next day. I could not sleep anymore. I even finished a 30 minute workout. Had breakfast. Welcomed the suppliers one by one. There wasn't a hitch from thereon.
Queen's team was so well-organized. They arrived around 10am, and with them was early lunch for my family and the suppliers. Eric endorsed all the final payments for the suppliers to Queen. They had everything controlled--the suppliers, our families, our entourage, myself and Eric. We felt taken care of the whole day. I felt like a princess attending my coronation, having my own bridal assistant. Eric also had his own. So we were never left by ourselves not knowing what to do. I'm sure things or glitches happened in the background but I never felt any of it. It was all so smooth and seamless and at the end of the day, people were asking me for Queen's contact details. And why wouldn't they? They said our coordinators were very efficient and professional, yet polite. They commanded presence so that even our ninongs and ninangs followed whatever instruction David gave. They were quick, snappy and decisive. I never saw anyone slacking. The best part? They never came to me with problems. They will inform me of issues but by that time, it has already been solved.
Even the guests felt "alaga" by our coordinators. No one felt like they didn't know what to do or where to go. Everyone was well-informed and guided. No scrambling. No agitation.
And because of this, Eric and I were just beaming with happiness the whole day. We felt no stress nor pressure and we just enjoyed every minute of it. I can't even say the words "It was just a blur." No, I don't have that. I remember everything! :) Thanks to these guys, we were able to enjoy that special day.
